Hi, I'm Tyakeia, though most people call me Nic or Aeris. I've spent the better part of a decade working at the crossroads of people, policy, and risk. I've learned that the best compliance work isn't about checking boxes. It's about building systems that protect people and organizations at the same time. My career has taken me through some of the most compliance-intensive environments you can find: global tech at Salesforce, large-scale operations at Amazon, and digital healthcare at Truepill, where I managed HR compliance in a HIPAA-regulated pharmacy environment. Before that, I worked in HR compliance at Walgreens and CVS where following the rules isn't optional and the stakes are real.
